guidelines

l Circuit board cleaning: It is recommended that circuit boards are cleaned after assembly to remove dust, oil and post-solder residue, which effectively improves adhesion and prevents corrosion of components and solder joints.

l M988H is suitable for painting, dipping and spraying processes. The thickness of a single layer is normally 25-40um and the user can adjust the viscosity and thickness of the paint film by means of a thinner to achieve the best results according to the application process.

M988H will evaporate during use (especially in open containers), resulting in an increase in specific gravity and viscosity, which makes it difficult to work with, and the uneven film formation will affect the moisture-proof effect and electrical properties. If painting or dipping is used, it is recommended to apply a small amount several times. To avoid absorption of moisture in the air and gel caking, which may affect the use.

M988H is a fast curing solvent that absorbs moisture in the air after evaporation, so it is best to pour it out of the open container and store it in a sealed container when not in use for a long period of time to avoid rapid evaporation or absorption of moisture in the air causing coagulation or whitening. Do not pour it back into the original barrel as this may bring in moisture and affect the stability of the product.

l Especially in rainy weather, when the air humidity is high, the product may turn white during use due to the absorption of moisture in the air, but after baking, the whitening phenomenon can disappear completely and will not affect the performance of the product.

l M988 can be used as a post remedial procedure in case of bad solder residues on circuit boards. When using poor rosin-free or low solids fluxes, the board may exhibit some undesirable phenomena, which can be remedied with M78H when the following phenomena occur. Details are as follows.

M988 will absorb the residue and turn it into a film, forming a thin, transparent film on the surface.

b: When the resistance of the post-solder circuit board residue is too low and leakage occurs, the previous remedy was to clean it (but some fluxes are difficult to clean and tend to show white residue).

The use of this function must be low rosin content, if the residue is too high, it should be cleaned first.
